Bernie Madoff gets 150 years in prison. I hope they leave him there after he has passed. It was really the ultimate scam. He didn't invest a single cent. He placed everything in a Chase Manhattan Bank account. It is still there. Or what is left of it. The rest I believe was spend on his lavish lifestyle. He literally took money from hardworking people and spent it on himself. At 71 he has enjoyed enough. He must go and pay his dues in prison and after he is gone.
Ponzi schemes like this are so simple. Promise one person a good return and actually pay him back with someone else's money. The first person, seeing the good returns, will reinvest everything as he is tempted. Which really irks me to say this... This thing is still going on and will continue to go on even in Singapore!!! It is human greed and it will continue. Even after the local press warn people about it.

Seriously, I belive that those who do believe that by throwing money into get rich schemes instead of working hard for it should lose their money. We need more people like this from time to time so that we can have a reminder about the value of hard work and the consequence of human greed. I'm sorry to all who invested in such schemes. Your money should be all gone.
